Overview of Licensed Educational Zoom Account

Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that allows participants to connect and collaborate virtually through video, audio, and chat via a browser, desktop application, or mobile device. Every student, faculty, and staff have access to our licensed educational Zoom account.

What does our Zoom account offer?

  • Meetings can accommodate up to 300 people.
  • Employees and students can register as a licensed Zoom user by creating an account with their @alamo.edu or @student.alamo.edu email addresses. Learn how to sign in with your @alamo.edu via SSO.
  • Zoom is integrated within Canvas.
  • Meeting chat, screen sharing, file transfer, polling, whiteboard, annotation, and remote control are available.
