
Turnitin Draft Coach will appear automatically for Alamo Colleges District (ACD) students within the Microsoft Word for the Web application in Microsoft/Office 365. Employees also have access to the tool, but they will need to enable the add-in from the Microsoft online store.
How to Enable Turnitin Draft Coach for Employee Microsoft 365 Accounts
- Log in to Microsoft 365 and launch the Microsoft Word for the Web application by either opening an existing online Word document or creating a new one.
- Select the Insert tab [A] from the menu bar, then select the Add-ins button [B].
- An "Office Add-ins" window will appear; select the Store link [C] and type "Draft Coach" into the application search field [D]. Hit the Enter key or Search button [spyglass icon] to process. Select the Turnitin Draft Coach add-in from the list of available applications by clicking the Add button [E].

- Review and acknowledge the License terms and Privacy policy by clicking Continue.

- The Turnitin add-in will now appear on your ribbon any time you open a Microsoft Word document online. Select it to begin using Draft Coach.
