Re-Activating SoftChalk Cloud User Account

If it has been awhile since you have logged into the Alamo Colleges SoftChalk Cloud to modify or create new SoftChalk lessons, you may notice you no longer have access to your lessons and learning objects. Accounts that have shown no activity for a year or more are placed in Expired status.

To re-activate your Alamo Colleges SoftChalk Cloud user account, please take the following steps:

Click "Subscribe"
  1. Log into the Alamo Colleges SoftChalk Cloud and click on the Subscribe link below your user name.
Select "Cloud" for the Account Type
  1. The Account Upgrade screen will appear. Select CLOUD (I have an activation key) from the Account Type drop-down menu.
Enter the activation key for the Alamo Colleges SoftChalk Cloud account
  1. In the Activation Key field that appears, enter in the Alamo Colleges SoftChalk Cloud activation key found on AlamoShare. Once you have entered the activation key, select the Upgrade button.

Employees who do not have a network login can contact Alamo Instructional Technology at [email protected] for the Alamo Colleges SoftChalk Cloud activation key.

Verify the account has been restored after you receive the "Upgrade complete" message
  1. An Upgrade complete message will display; navigate to your Lessons and Learning Objects to verify your content has been restored.
