A channel is a collection of presentations grouped for organization. It categorizes related multimedia content, often based on themes, topics, courses, or other categories. For instance, if you have lectures for a course, create a course channel. It simplifies content access, and added presentations can be easily reached within the channel. Channels can have dedicated URLs for sharing the entire collection.
If a channel needs to be edited such as the title, description etc.., or if it needs to be deleted, you can easily do so in mediasite.
In this guide, you will learn how to edit the contents of a channel and delete one, if need be.
- To edit or delete a channel, open My Media.
- Click Sign in.
- Login with ACES.
In the mediasite home page, select Browse Channels > Select a Channel.
In the channel page, select Edit.
Edit the fields as needed, then when finished, click Save.
To delete a channel, tap the red Delete button.
