Adding an External User to a Canvas Course

1. Login to the Canvas course and click on the People link in the course menu.

2. Click on + People in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Click the circle next to Login ID.

4. Type the external user email address in the box.

5. Select Role from the drop-down menu under Role.

6. Click Next at the bottom right.

7. Click Add Users.
