- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, look at More .
- If an update is pending, the icon will be colored:
- Green: An update was released less than 2 days ago.
- Orange: An update was released about 4 days ago.
- Red: An update was released at least a week ago.
To update Google Chrome:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Update Google Chrome.

- The About Mozilla Firefox window opens. Firefox will check for updates and download them automatically.

When the download is complete, click Restart to update Firefox.

Select the Start button, select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and then select Check for updates.
- Open Microsoft Edge, and click the three dots in the top-right corner of the window.
- At the bottom of the drop-down menu, hover your mouse over "Help and feedback."
- Another small menu will appear. ...
- This will bring you to a page that will automatically check for updates.
- Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen and selecting "System Preferences." ...
- Select "System Updates" — it's marked with a gear icon. ...
- Your computer will then check if there are any updates or upgrades available for your Mac.
